Meet the Dentists

Marion Arbogast, DDS
Dr. Arbogast received both his undergraduate and DDS degrees from The Ohio State University and began practicing dentistry 50 years ago. He belongs to the American Dental Association, the Ohio Dental Association, the Northwest Ohio Dental Society (past president), American Legion, the Blanchard Valley Health Foundation, and Dr. Arbogast has been a Rotarian for 49 years. A Pierre Fauchard recipient and a Paul Harris Fellow, Dr. Arbogast is also the proud father to four grown daughters. To relax, Dr. Arbogast likes fishing, traveling, and farming.

Nancy Dysinger, DDS
After completing her undergraduate degree at The Ohio State University, Dr. Dysinger earned her DDS there as well. In 1983, she joined her father’s dental practice, and the office moved to the current location in 1990. To stay on the leading-edge of dentistry and provide excellent care for our patients, Dr. Dysinger regularly takes continuing education courses, including seminars by John Cranham and Peter Dawson. Dr. Dysinger maintains memberships with the American Dental Association, the Ohio Dental Society, the Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Northwest Ohio Dental Society, the Blanchard Valley Study Club, and the Paragon Study Club. A busy mom of two daughters, Dr. Dysinger supports their activities, including figure skating, cheerleading, and volleyball.

Kimberli Crates Best, DDS
With a BS in biochemistry from Bowling Green State University, Dr. Best attended dental school at The Ohio State University. She joined this practice in 2004. Dr. Best is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Ohio Dental Association, the Northwest Ohio Dental Society, the Seattle Study Club, the Blanchard Valley Study Club, and the Paragon Study Club. Devoted to her patients, Dr. Best delivers compassionate care and beautiful results. A resident of Findlay, OH, Dr. Best lives there with her husband, Matt, and three sons, Ben, Jake and Max. Dr. Best’s leisure activities include rooting for the Ohio State Buckeyes and spending time with her family.

Emily Crates Heintzelman, DDS
With a BS in molecular biology, Dr. Heintzelman earned her DDS from The Ohio State University, graduating cum laude. She joined McComb Family Dental in 2009 and has delivered personalized care to our patients ever since. Her professional memberships include the American Dental Association, the Ohio Dental Association, the Northwest Ohio Dental Society, and Blanchard Valley Study Club, and the Paragon Study Club. Dr. Heintzelman and her husband Nate have a son named Thomas.

 

Meet the Team

Front Desk

Jan, Financial Coordinator
As our Financial Coordinator, Jan brings 35 years of experience to the team. She helps make sure our patients understand and utilize their insurance benefits to the fullest. Jan has a husband and three daughters. She spends her down time working in the yard and enjoying quality time with family.

Kim, Scheduling Coordinator
Kim graduated with an associate's degree in applied business. Meeting new patients and developing relationships with the people gives Kim a chance to make a difference. She loves the great people on our staff. Kim and her husband Kamron have 3 children, Karaline, Kamille, and Kooper. Spending time with her family gives her a great deal of pleasure, especially supporting her children in school and athletics.

Abby, Treatment Coordinator
After high school, Abby earned an associate’s degree in accounting. She joined our team a decade ago. Abby makes sure our patients can obtain and maintain excellent oral health. She has a daughter named Rachel and a son named Jacob. To relax, Abby enjoys volunteering, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

Cathy, Office Manager
Cathy manages the day-to-day operations of the practice and enjoys enhancing the technology in the office. She has a degree business administration from the University of Findlay. She and her husband, Roy, live in McComb with their son, Bo. They enjoy spending time with family and going to the lake.

Assistants

Cindy, Dental Assistant
For 35 years, Cindy has served our patients with experience and compassion. Cindy enjoys our family-oriented practice and prides herself on providing the best dental care possible. She and her husband, Matt, have been married for 27 years. Cindy is active in her church. She's also an Ohio State Buckeye fan, and she likes to golf, fish, hunt, and travel.

Jill, Expanded Function Dental Assistant
Jill attended Ohio State University and joined our practice in 1990. She's been a loyal member of our team for nearly 20 years! Everyday, Jill's patients reward her with beautiful smiles, and she takes pride in knowing she helps provide the best dental care possible. Passionate about her career, Jill belongs to the Dental Assistant National Board, and she has completed hands-on courses through the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Married with three children and five grandchildren, Jill spends spare time sewing, gardening, and traveling.

Jennifer, Certified Dental Assistant
In high school, Jennifer worked for our office as a filing clerk. After attending college, Jennifer returned to the practice as a dental assistant and has enjoyed the people and patients she spends her days with. She and her husband, Tim, have two sons, Andrew and Jason. Jennifer’s free time is occupied with driving her boys to soccer and camping with her family.

Laura, Expanded Function Dental Assistant
Laura is a certified dental assistant who earned her degree at The Ohio State University, and she's taken many hands-on courses with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. She is committed to giving patients thorough dental care and beautiful smiles. She and her husband, Ed, have two children, Bradley and Cassidy. Laura loves spending time with her family and being involved in her children’s activities.

Lindsay, Dental Assistant
Having recently joined our team, Lindsay brings enthusiasm and zest to her work with patients. She loves developing lasting relationships fueled by a desire to obtain optimal oral health. Outside the office, Lindsay spends time with her dog, Alexis, and enjoys softball, volleyball, bowling, and biking.

Angela, Certified Dental Assistant
In 1999, Angela completed her certified dental assistant’s training at Concorde Career Institute. Continuing to hone her skills gives Angela the opportunity to enhance our patients’ lives and smiles. For 12 years, Angela has been married to Preston, and they have three sons, Kyle, Wesley, and Jonathan. Outside the office, Angela relaxes with her family.

Hygienists

Teresa, Registered Dental Hygienist
Teresa received her hygiene training from Lima Technical College where she received the Golden Scaler Award for her outstanding qualities in patient care. With tenure of 19 years in this office, Teresa helps create gorgeous smiles for our patients. She appreciates the team atmosphere of the staff. Her husband, Rob, and two sons, Nathan and Brandon, keep Teresa busy away from the office. Teresa also likes gardening and volunteering at her children’s school.

Kelly, Registered Dental Hygienist
Kelly has spent 13 of her 16 years as a hygienist in our office. She likes the wonderful group of people that work here, and Kelly feels like her patients make her smile everyday. Kelly is married and has two children. Away from the office, she spends time running and watching her kids play sports.

Sarah, Registered Dental Hygienist/Expanded Function Dental Assistant
With training as a registered dental hygienist and an expanded function dental assistant, Sarah provides her patients with thorough care and a wealth of experience. She’s been a valued member of our team since 2002 and holds licensing for dental anesthesia. Sarah is married to Kevin, and they have 3 children, Mason, Brevin, and Kya.

Holly, Registered Dental Hygienist
A graduate of Owens College, Holly has worked as a dental hygienist for 11 years, with the last three in our practice. Certified to administer local anesthesia, Holly ensures our patients’ comfort. Holly loves our high-tech environment and expanding her knowledge so that she can more effectively educate her patients about proper oral health. Her hobbies include tennis, volleyball, and sailing.

Matthew, Registered Dental Hygienist/Expanded Functions Dental Assistant

Matthew joined our office in 2010, after graduating from Owens College. Though primarily focused on maintaining and restoring smiles, he’s also committed to educating our patients about the brushing habits that will help them achieve their optimal oral health. Matthew is also certified to administer dental anesthesia. It’s dedication like this that lets us build lasting relationship between team members and patients. Away from the office, Matthew gives back to his community by volunteering with his church and at a city mission.
